**Appeal for auction and raffle prizes**

We are currently looking for prizes for our charity auction and raffle and would greatly appreciate anything your company has to offer.

In return, we will thank you for your donation on social media, the Building Communities Awards website, in the evening brochure and you will get a shout out in front of almost 500 guests on the night. Each prize will also be labelled with your company logo.

Tickets will be on sale on the night priced at £5 each or 5 for £20.

 Previous Fundraising

At the 2015 awards, with the help of our guests, numerous suppliers, manufacturers and contractors, we managed to raise an impressive £10,000 cash for Steps Conductive Education Centre, who were the EEM charity of the year for 2015. Nationwide Windows and Robert Woodhead also worked together to replace over 50 windows and repair the stonework at the Steps centre.

At the 2016 awards, our chosen charity was Little Hearts Matter, which offers support and information and raises awareness of those affected when a child has been born with only half a heart.With the help of our Members and Framework providers, we raised an impressive £20,500 which was presented to Little Hearts Matter at the end of the night.

At the 2017 awards, our guests raised an incredible £28,000 for Dementia UK. This went towards recruiting and training more Admiral Nurses to help families coping with dementia in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

At the 2018 awards, our guests raised £33,000 for Rainbows Hospice for Children. 

At the 2019 awards, we presented Prostate Cancer UK with £22,000 and horticultural social enterprise Rhubarb Farm were surprised with a much-needed 17 seater minibus.
